This is what happens when you ask children to spell ‘Ramadan’

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. During this month, Muslims from all around the world fast from sunrise until sunset. As you may have already noticed, Ramadan has started. EidPrayLove did a cute experiment on adorable kids. What did they ask them? To spell: “Ramadan”.

Spelling Ramadan might seem easy, but isn’t for everyone. In the beginning you see the children struggling to spell “Ramadan”, but with a little teamwork they spell it correctly. The video ends with a powerful message: “However you spell it, May this Ramadan nourish our souls and fill our heart with Love.”

“Our goal was to capture the innocent passion of children and use their voice to inspire Muslims to use Ramadan as a time to reflect on how we can improve ourselves and be better members of our community,” Bassel Riche, co-founder of EidPrayLove, told The Huffington Post.

EidPrayLove and Mvslim share the same goals: “Uniting Muslims and changing the perception through positive social and interfaith action.”
