Peace, hope, freedom and justice are all on the wings of these little cute birds. The Dubai-based jewelry brand, founded by the Syrian-born Yara Tlass last year, serves a purpose and shows how fashion can help raise awareness on human right issues.
uSfuur, meaning bird in Arabic, collaborated with a Syrian grassroots organization Watanili to support Syrian refugees around the world by donating a certain percentage of its sale. Tlass, the designer and founder of the brand, says that they would like to reach out refugees and displaced communities in need, varying from Iraq to Palestine in the long term.
uSfuur’s designs have, also, a perfect aesthetic. The collection including minimalist fine pieces varying from necklaces to rings and anklets, each handcrafted in 18-karat white, yellow, and rose gold, has already stolen our heart with its simple but extra cool designs!
