What is Happening in Yemen?
Yemen is going through the largest humanitarian crisis ever recorded. Around 24 million people, over half of which are children, are in a state of emergency. They are suffering from diseases and illness, malnutrition, water poverty, and a number of other life-threatening conditions.
In Yemen ‘2 million children are acutely malnourished and over 368,000 children under 5 are suffering from severe acute malnutrition and urgently need life-saving food to survive’ (Unicef).
We must step up for the future of this country that is nearing possible extinction.
A Pharmacy in Yemen
We, at Mvslim, have been feeling hopeless and many of you all may have been feeling the same way. So, we have decided to team up with a charity that is on the ground and making a difference.
The charity, Mercy Relief has been in Yemen providing emergency support and building infrastructures to provide sustainable aid to the current crisis.
We want your help to build a pharmacy in Yemen to provide medicines to help with Covid-19 patient care.
