Facebook user Sonja B. made a rather unusual Facebook event called “Islam’s Farewell Day” (Uitzwaaidag Islam in Dutch) where she is ‘pleading’ for the deportation of Muslims in the Netherlands.
Sonja: “Islam is an intolerant ideology that doesn’t belong in the West, which is trying to undermine every day, through violence or changes in the host country and the continued displacement of Western values. We say NO to this hatred culture and would love to wave Islam and its associates goodbye on March 15th 2017. Are you in? “
Instead of sending hateful responses and mean messages, Dutch Muslims started to make fun of this page. Saying they’re “touched that racist people are dropping them off at the airport for their holiday”. So far 4.6K people are interested in the event and 5.3K are ‘going’ (most of them being Muslim, lol).
