After 19 months of being inactive, Conor McGregor has announced his comeback to the UFC world. His first fight will be against the current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. With this fight, Conor McGregor wants to earn back his lightweight title that he never lost. This fight is the biggest of the year. UFC president Dana White told Express UK: “Obviously, I think this fight will be massive. This will be the biggest fight we’ve ever done on pay-per-view, for sure.”

What makes the fight even more interesting and juicy is that the two MMA fighters are not on good terms. Nurmagomedov was targeted by McGregor’s infamous bus attack that took place prior to UFC 223 in April, when Nurmagomedov was crowned the lightweight champion.
Ticket prices for the UFC 229 have been officially announced, and are between $200 and $2,000.
