On June 19th, Angelina and her daughter Shiloh went to Lebanon to meet Syrian refugees. The actress also visited Syrian girl Hala, whom she had already met a year ago. Her daughter Shiloh, who is very aware of her mother’s humanitarian work always wanted to tag along and this time she had the chance to do so.
Shiloh had heard a lot about Hala and her siblings and was excited to meet them all. Angelina was very pleased to see that her daughter and Hala got along very well. After meeting them, Shiloh had a lot of questions and felt sad about what she had seen. But she was happy to have experienced this and can’t wait for the next trip.
World Refugee Day and Iftar
After their visit to Lebanon they headed to Turkey, on Saturday the 20th, to visit Midyat Camp in honor of World Refugee Day. World Refugee Day is a day on which the UN asks for attention for refugees from all over the world. Angelina and her daughter ended their trip by having Iftar, break of the fast in Ramadan, with the refugees.
