This Comedy Movie is The Best and Most Hilarious Answer Against Islamophobia

What is the best way to respond to Islamophobia? The 23-year old American Muslim Lena Khan decided to react by directing a brilliant comedy: The Tiger Hunter. Khan started with the movie as soon as she heard of Trump’s travel ban for Muslim. Besides to entertain people, Khan wants to provide an insight to the people on Muslims. Back in 1970, the immigration of various populations to the USA was considered a positive phenomenon, while now it is a no-go. Khan’s script is based on stories about the ban of many immigrants with various backgrounds.

The majority of the cast are women and people of color. Diversity was and is key for the young female director. A comedy is, according to her, always the best way to respond to negativity. In any region, even in places where there is a lot of racial tension, people can appreciate a good comedy with a positive political statement.
