This 7-year-old donated all his savings to a vandalised mosque: How cute is he?

In times of darkness and hateful acts it can be hard to find light and positivity. This little boy from Texas proves that even in the most difficult days, love overcomes all kinds of negativity.

When Jack Swanson, a 7 year old boy from Texas heard from his mother that one of the local mosques had been the victim of a hate crime, he was so upset that he felt like he needed to do something about it. “We were talking in the car how someone smeared poop on their church and that was a really, really awful thing to do and we had a good conversation what churches are for and how everybody’s churches are important,”, Jackson’s mom told KXAN.

Jackson decided to donate all the money he had in his piggy bank to the Mosque and added a card that said “I’m sorry people were mean to you”.

Faisal Naeem who’s part of the mosque’s board was heartwarmed that this 7 year old wanted to help by this act and decided that the Texas Muslim community should give Jack a little present for the holidays. And since Jack was saving money to buy his own Ipad, Faisal and other Muslims bought it for him as a way to show how thankful they were for his act of kindness.

That kid is hope,” Naeem said. And I’m sure we can all agree that he definitely is. Acts like this show that love and kindness always win. No matter what.
