Summer is coming up and maybe you are planning your next vacation. You are excited and you keep thinking about new summer clothes and gear. Soon you’ll have to pack, but packing can be stressful if you don’t have a checklist. That is why we highly recommend for every traveler to make a checklist. To help you with the process, here are 7 things that are commonly forgotten during packing.
1. Personal care products
It’s your first night at the hotel and you are getting ready to sleep. But oh no, you forgot your tooth brush, and shoot, your tooth paste too. And the hotel where you are staying does not provide enough toiletries. So you end up looking for a store and spending money on things you should have packed. Money you could have used for a delicious meal or a nice beach trip…
2. Sunglasses
We are guessing you’re travelling to a sunny destination. So the most obvious of thing should be you bringing your sunglasses along. If you forget those, you might pay the high tourist prices to get one.
3. Phone charger
Our phones are our maps, our way to fix an uber, our music players, but also our camera’s. Maybe thé most important item during your travels. So dubbel check if you brought your phone charger before leaving.
4. Swimwear
It is easy to forget your swimwear even thou you may have worked really hard for your summer body. What is almost certain is that you planned a trip to the beach or swimming pool so make sure you don’t end up tanning without enjoying the refreshment of swimming.
5. Sunscreen
A trip to the beach doesn’t only include bringing your swimwear. We know you looked forward to getting that beautiful summer tan. Our biggest tip: if you want that sunkissed look, try not to forget your sun screen. That’s also a way to avoid looking like a tomato at the end of the day.
6. Raincoat
You may have looked at the weather forecast before packing, nevertheless, it is always a good idea to take your raincoat with you in case of a change in weather.
7. Medication
Last but not least, take some pain killers with you. You never know what you are going to encounter. And for those taking daily medication, move this one to the top of your list!
