5 Social Media Comments That Everyone Has Read About the Refugees

Refugees have been all over the news the previous weeks. On Facebook, Twitter, the news, the many conversations everywhere were all about one thing: The refugees that are leaving Syria and Iraq to move to Europe.

Even if you were trying your best to avoid all this news, like me, there was no way you really could. It was literally everywhere. And don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t trying to avoid this because I didn’t want to hear about it. I was trying to avoid it because of the ignorance of some people. I am very sensitive to this. Seeing people with so much hatred commenting on news articles makes me mad and sad. In the beginning of the week I’ve literally lost my faith in Humanity.

In this article I will sum up the five types of comments that everyone has seen on social media about refugees.

The know-it-all

The ‘What about the homeless in our country’

The smh (shaking my head) comments

People who comment: Let them return to their home. I think that you forget that they don’t have a home anymore.
