The Winner of The Great British Bake Off is Making a BBC Series About Her Journey To Mecca

Remember The Great British Bake Off 2015 – winner? Ofcourse we do! Who can forget the talented & best baker Nadiya Hussain. Since Bake Off, Nadiya has appeared in numerous TV shows, released two cookbooks and even written a novel. Now she will represent & forecast her journey to Mecca for the world’s biggest pilgrimage, Hajj.

BBC One has announced The Hajj (w/t), a two part series with Nadiya Hussain as she will embarks on an intensely personal and emotional journey following one of the world’s biggest pilgrimages, the Hajj.

Nadiya, herself, previously completed the Hajj for the first time in 2013. Now being filmed, she will reflect the journey of five days of Hajj pilgrimage and the stories of three million people who come for hajj. She will witness all that comes during her journey, right from start of England till the return. After Hajj she will go on to Medina to visit the Prophet’s Mosque.

Nadiya said: ‘The Hajj is one of the most intense and emotional experiences you can undertake and I’m delighted to be sharing my journey with BBC One viewers. I’m really looking forward to showing first-hand exactly what it is like to be there and meeting some of the other pilgrims and hearing their stories as well as finding out more about the cultural and historical significance of this incredible event.’

Its an all Muslim crew for the series & the two part of it will reveal the incredible stories of the second largest faith in the world- Islam. It will air during the pilgrimage time. We really are too excited to see this kind of spiritual journey & the stories it will bring it with.
